Creating an effective video piece is much like conducting an orchestra. Many talented and skilled people in different disciplines come together to create one great masterpiece, filled with intricacies and layers of detail.
Kevin Friel has been the conductor of Symphonic Filmworks since 2003, when the company was founded shortly after the production of a music video for Ottawa punk rockers, The Riptides. The piece was selected by MuchMusic as one of their hot videos in August of 2004 and was featured on George Stombolopolous's "The Punk Show".
Since then, a long string of a-list clients and productions have followed. These include The Ottawa Senators, CTVOlympics.ca, Nanos Research, Alcatel-Lucent, Iridium, The Canadian Association of Broadcasters Awards, the redesigned Ottawa Congress Centre, Alliance-Atlantis, The Rachel Rey Show, ABC News in San Francisco, Destination Nor'Ouest (Season 2), many departments of the Government and Canada and many more.
Our facilities include HD cameras with 24P capture, broadcast quality edit suites (both desktop and mobile), and industry standard software for music production and motion/3D graphics creation. We can deliver anything from YouTube viral videos to broadcast HD masters.
No project is too big or too small for this symphony!
